1. Historic Warsaw
Poland’s capital city of Warsaw is a great area to visit on a Polish break, filled with historic monuments from Gothic churches to neoclassical churches. It’s one of the most popular cities in central and eastern Europe and not to missed on your Polish holiday.
The city is notably home to the Palace of Culture and Science, an iconic landmark building which includes a huge congress ball, multiscreen cinema, theatres and museums.

3. Fantastic Kraków
The historic southern city of Kraków is well-known for its well-preserved medieval core. As the second largest city in Poland, Kraków is sure to help fill your holiday itinerary. The resort town of Zakopane, located at the foothills of the Tatra Mountains, is a popular area of southern Poland offering great winter sports and mountain climbing and hiking.
5. The Wieliczka Salt Mine
The Wieliczka Salt Mine is one of the largest tourist attractions in Poland, located in the town of Wieliczka. Preserved in a pristine condition, the salt mine is 135 metres underground and a UNESCO World Heritage Site today. It has been producing salt for over 700 years and today, visitors can enjoy a guided tour underground for a 2.5 kilometres-long journey full of chambers, statues and an extensive collection of mining machines and equipment. The exciting attraction entices over one million tourists each year – it’s not to be missed!
