A stone archway divides the living room with its huge table and large window overlooking the countryside. This room has beautiful cotto floors and stonewalls. This is a beautiful fortified farmhouse structure dating back to the year 400. It was modified in the course of the centuries and has finally been completely restored by the owner with great care and a respect has been know in keeping the original layout and style to its former design. Accommodation This apartment was the old barn of the house. It is on the ground floor and has its private large furnished terrace. This apartment has a real Tuscan tastethe materials used are wood, stone and cotto. Through a glass door, up one step from the terrace is the kitchen which is equipped with a nice marble sink. Down two steps from the kitchen is the living/dining room with fireplace and large windows. The living room has its original stone floors integrated with cotto and boats wooden beamed ceilings. A wooden staircase leads up to the first floor gallery where is a comfortable couch (the gallery is lower in the first part and higher in the second part) and a small room where the washing machine is located. From the living/dining room is a hall with two doorsone opens into the first double bedroom with ensuite bath with shower stall and a glass door, which opens into the terrace. (This bed can be separated).
