Here you can simply relax by the pool, soak up the rural views, discover ancient hilltop towns, enjoy water sports at Lake Bracciano or change the pace with a trip or two into Rome, just an hour away. This is authentic Italy, slightly off the beaten track but close enough to very easily rejoin it whenever you want! You will find shops and restaurants at the nearby little town of Otricoli, which is perhaps best known for its position on the Via Flaminia, the ancient road built and used by the Romans to travel from the centre of Rome, across Lazio and Umbria to the Adriatic coast, and subsequently used in medieval times to continue on to Ravenna. Certainly Rome would make a wonderful day out from this villa. The fast train from Orte station (easy parking) will get you to the centre of Rome in just 50 minutes! Beautiful, historic towns such as Assisi, Viterbo and Tarquinia would also make particularly memorable trips. The famous Marmore waterfalls are only a short drive away and really not to be missed by any visitor to this areayou can go rafting here too. Another worthwhile trip from this country villa with pool on wine estate is Lake Bracciano, a volcanic lake offering a wide variety of water-based activities. A day out at the seaside is perfectly possible too, with resorts only an hour and a half s drive west, on Lazios Maremma coast. Nice independent house with private pool situated in peacefully and panoramic location overlooking the Tevere river valley, on the border between Umbria and Lazio. This property provides a nice garden and a beautiful furnished terrace (partially covered) with panoramic views over the surrounding landscape. The pool is approx. 50 m from the house away. The villa is on two levels (both with access on to the outside) and provides large and cozy interiors. The property key-holders live on the premises, in a small share of the house but do not use the outside areas or the swimming-pool. The key-holders (very nice people) take care of the daily cleaning of the house (2 hours a day) and are available to prepare nice dinners to taste local recipes. The access to the property is via 1 km of an unpaved but well-maintained road. Accommodation 250 m2 Ground floorlarge living-room with dining area and fireplace, kitchen (oven, freezer, dishwasher, American coffee maker), toilet. The living-room and the kitchen have access on to a large panoramic terrace furnished with tables and sofas.
