Appartamento Roccaforte A is an elegant apartment which is part of a castle dating back to the year 1200. It sleeps six people. From Appartamento Roccaforte A you will have a fascinating view of the Valley and of the hills. Appartamento Roccaforte A is 350 square meters (3770 square feet). It features a shared swimming pool, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed) and winter heating. You will be in the heart of Lippiano, roughly 300 meters (330 yards) from a restaurant and a grocery store. You will find a number of restaurants and shops at 5 km (roughly 3.1 miles). Appartamento Roccaforte A is located on the second floor of an ancient building. You will reach it from the main entrance of the building going up approximately 20 stairway steps. To stay at Appartamento Roccaforte A you will need a car. You will be able to park it on the premises, in a parking lot. Appartamento Roccaforte A is tended by a caretaker, who resides in an apartment with separate entrance on the bottom floor. Appartamento Roccaforte A is one of the holiday homes available in a small complex. Please find a general description of the complex below, and please scroll further down for a description of Appartamento Roccaforte A. You will stay in a wonderful castle which is situated on the top of a green hill, surrounded by a wide park. The castle features a high watchtower dating back to the 12th century and beautiful rooms decorated with frescoes dating back to the 16th century. In the basement you will find a beautiful cellar, featuring brick and stone vaults. The castle has 3 floors and covers about 4000 square meters. Owners  use some of the wide  indoor and outdoor spaces of the castle to host ceremonies or elegant weddings, for a fee. In addition to Appartamento Roccaforte A, the castle features thirteen bedrooms (6 double, 6 triple and 1 single).  Swimming Pool The swimming pool is 6 meters (20 feet) large by 12 meters (39 feet) long, from 1.10 meter (3.60 feet) to 1.90 meters (6.2 feet) deep. The swimming pool area is equipped with tables, chairs, sun umbrellas and sun loungers. From the swimming pool you will enjoy a pleasant view of the surrounding countryside. You will share the pool with the other guests staying at the complex.  Living Room The living room is paved with ancient terracotta tiles. The ceiling has characteristic exposed wood beams. The furnishings are elegant and bright, and include some antique pieces. The furnishings include a sofa and two armchairs. There is an age-old and impressive fireplace. The dining table can accommodate 14 guests. In this room you will find a satellite television and a DVD player. The room has six double-glazed windows with a view of the vegetation and of the hills. It is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. Kitchen You will be able to enter the kitchen from the corridor. It is equipped with a four-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher and an Italian-style coffee-maker. There is also a brickwork barbecue. There is a table to seat eight guests. The kitchen has three windows with a view of the vegetation and of the hills. Bedroom 1 You will be able to enter the first bedroom from the living room. It has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/62 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The room has two windows. Bedroom 2 You will be able to enter the second bedroom from the living room. It has two twin beds (80 cm/32 inches), that can be pushed together into a matrimonial bed if requested. The room has a window. Bedroom 3 You will be able to enter the third bedroom from the living room. It has two twin beds (80 cm/32 inches), that can be pushed together into a matrimonial bed if requested. The room has a window. Bathroom 1 The first bathroom is made of lucid majolica tiles and marble and equipped with a washbasin, a toilet and a bathtub with shower wand. You will be able to enter the bathroom from the living room through a corridor. Bathroom 2 The second bathroom is equipped with a washbasin, a toilet and a shower. Here you will also find a washing machine. You will be able to enter the bathroom from the corridor.   The rental price includeselectricity; linens; towels. Casa Castore B is a cozy apartment built on a hillside, surrounded by meadows and woods. It sleeps four people. It is appoximately 65 square meters (700 square feet). It features a shared swimming pool, a shared garden, a reserved outdoor area and winter heating. You will be roughly 800 meters (half a mile) from Lippiano, 4 km (roughly 4400 yards) from restaurants and from the shops. Casa Castore B is located on the first floor of the building. You will reach it from the parking area along a 50-meters (165-feet) walkway that cuts through the garden and includes approximately 16 stairway steps. To stay at Casa Castore B you will need a car. You will be able to park it on the premises, inside the entrance gate. Casa Castore B is one of the holiday homes available in a small complex. The complex is made up of five holiday apartments that once belonged to a farmhouse dating back to the XVI century. It is situated near the banks of a small torrent that marks the border between Umbria and Tuscany. The complex, that is entirely fenced, is located in a hilly area, surrounded by the greenery of lawns and woods. The historical centre of Lippiano, a small medieval village that is famous for its castle, is at roughly 800 meters away.
