Situated atop a charming hill in Chianti, Villa Glorietta, provides picturesque views of the neighbouring valleys and countryside. Constructed in the year 1000, this ancient villa has nevertheless been restored painstakingly keeping its historical value. However, care has also been taken to provide the comforts needed to make your holiday relaxed and comfortable. The villa consists of two different portions that are interconnected; the Old Tower, a portion which has been totally renovated, retaining its brick flooring and wooden beamed ceiling and yet providing enough creature comforts for a comfortable stay. The Hay Barn portion whose restoration has been done with a modern slant and contemporary style. The garden is filled with flowers including roses, jasmine and other local species. A swimming pool with a Jacuzzi in its annex, offers rest and relaxation as well as stunning local views of vineyards and a view of San Gimignano in the horizon. The entire property has eight bedrooms with bathrooms ensuite. In the tower there are three floors. At the ground or main level, two huge living rooms with elegant arch windows, overlook the pretty valley below. There is also a double/twin bedroom and ensuite bathroom along with a powder room.
