This artistically decorated Villa is set in an elevated position with fantastic views across Ibiza. It is located three kilometres from the charming village of Santa Gertrudis which attracts artists from all over the world. Interior This is an enchanting Villa which has been decorated with a lot of thought and charm. The entrance to the Villa is unique as it opens to a sitting area with a winding staircase leading up to the tower in the style of the famous Catalan architect Gaudi. The tower constitutes the third floor and has been made into a circular chill-out room with panoramic windows and cushioned seating. From here you can see the most magnificent sunsets. Patio doors lead from this room out to the pool and terrace. The living room is located on the ground floor and has a wood burning fireplace framed by a hand carved impressive wooden ornament. These hand carved, thick, dark wooden frames are a feature throughout the Villa. The living room also incorporates a dining table and is open plan to the very well equipped kitchen. The Villa has three lovely bedrooms all of which have air conditioning. Two of the bedrooms are located on the first floor and have a four poster double bed. They both share a separate bathroom room. The master bedroom also has a four poster double bed and is located on the second floor. It has satellite TV, access to a private terrace and a separate shower room. Both bathrooms have been decorated with the same amazing Gaudi style tiling. Due to the tower feature and the infinity swimming pool, this villa is not suitable for children. Exterior A private driveway leads to this charming property which is set on a privately owned hilltop. There is a tennis court one kilometre from the Villa , within the grounds, that is for the use of the guests. The exquisite cascading 8 x 4 metre pool is surrounded by a sun terrace. There is a covered barbecue area with an integral kitchen, fridge gas stove and sink. Patio dining furniture complete the luxury of alfresco dining in the lazy, Ibithenco summer nights. There is a winding staircase to the top of the tower which has breathtaking views over the entire island and distant sea views. Several bars line the main road which winds its way through, but nobody should drive by without parking close to the local church and trying out the cured ham and cheese at Bar Costa. From the outside it seems like a typical Spanish bar, but once inside there are several more dining rooms with many wonderful and interesting paintings and other art work. Located in the centre of the island, making it possible to access various beaches and towns within a twenty minute drive. San Antonio to the west has the famous Cafe del Mar bar from where you can see wonderful sunsets, visit the caves in the north of the island by San Miguel or drive east to the beautiful beaches of Cala Llonga. Services For guests staying longer then one week there is a weekly maid service. A refundable security deposit of 900 euros is required upon arrival. This villa is very special and quite unique and sits in over 30 acres of its own land. Its position is perfect. It is only 10 minutes drive from Ibiza Town and Santa Eularia, and only 5 minutes drive from beautiful Santa Gertrudis, with all its trendy restaurants and bars. Yet its totally secluded in the countryside. Even better, This villa is only a 2 minutes drive from the famous Bambuddah restaurant. You arrive at the villa by driving along its own private road about 0.5km. The villa is two separate houses together, which can sleep 12 people. There are six bed rooms, four double rooms and two rooms with two single beds in each room. There are two kitchens one in the main house which has all the mod cons, and a smaller kitchen in the house adjoining. There are two sitting rooms and three shower/bathrooms and three toilets. There is TV, music system and air conditioning in some of the rooms. The villa is a family home so it is in excellent condition and is very comfortable. It is not like renting a villa that is purely for rental. The family moves to another house in the summer. Outside is an excellent swimming pool and Barbacue with plenty of areas for al fresco dining and a wonderful Organic garden with every vegetable you can imagine. (lettuce, tomatoes, onions, red and green peppers, zucchini, eggplant, basil and parsley and water melon). The owner will bring home grown produce to the clients ,as we ask you not to pick it yourself. A lot of love and attention has gone into this garden and there are a number of fruit trees and amazing views over the surrounding countryside. This villa is perfect for families and groups who want to be close to everything yet secluded. The owners have devoted much time and love to this Villa so we only want to rent to those who appreciate a comfortable family home.
