This is very grand in every sense and is set on a small hillside above a village and boasts the most fantastic sea and mountain views. The shops and restaurants of Latchi and Polis are only a 7-minute drive from the villa. However a 10-minute walk from the villa you will reach the sea front with a couple of tavernas. There is a beach here too with sun-beds and safe bathing. This immediate area is becoming one of the most sought-after on the Island for villa rentals as life here is much more relaxed and at a slower pace - a perfect place to enjoy any villa holidays to this area of Polis. As you drive up from the coast road you pass many very fine houses and it takes pride of place on a very large plot amongst some of the best. A drive-way leads from the house to the car parking area at the rear of the villa.

On entering the villa you immediately realise that no expense has been spared with the tiling, fittings and furnishings in this gracious family home. The hall leads into an open plan enormous, air-conditioned lounge, which is most comfortably furnished with leather sofas with television, (limited channels), DVD and Sony PlayStation 2 for your added enjoyment. Large patio doors lead out to the railed off terrace and pool, ensuring total safety for small children.

The dining area has been beautifully furnished using local wood and has seating for ten. A feature archway then leads on into the well fitted kitchen, which boasts large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. A breakfast bar divides the second dining area, which has patio doors to the pool terrace. Finally a guest cloakroom with WC leads from the kitchen for easy access during the day.

On this ground floor level an inner hall takes you to two of the villas 5 air-conditioned bedrooms. The first is a twin with shower room en-suite, whilst the second is a pretty double with full bathroom en-suite and both rooms have patio doors to the garden and pool terrace. An attractive staircase then leads up to the first floor and the 3 remaining air conditioned bedrooms. The first of these is a twin with shower room en-suite, whilst bedroom 4 is also a twin, but has full bathroom en-suite and both of these rooms have patio doors onto the upstairs balcony and those wonderful sea views. The master double bedded room has walk-in wardrobes, small sitting area and full bathroom. Again this beautiful bedroom has patio doors to the balcony overlooking the pool and sea.

The villa is air-conditioned throughout for your added benefit.

Outside this villa has so much to offer our clients. Set amongst spacious, well-furnished sun terraces is the large 12-metre pool, which has Roman steps into a shallow end (1.0 metre) for children and is completely fenced off for safety. To the left of the pool is the sunken hot tub, a perfect venue for a glass of wine at sunset. You will also find a table-tennis table under the covered pergola and finally a wonderful outside cooking area with built in sink and large barbecue for those meals al-fresco. There are a variety of outdoor children’s games including basketball net and other outdoor toys.

A superb villa boasting every facility for that perfect family holiday or for couples to share, and with its fantastic location there are plenty of opportunities to get active with some cycling and walking in the Cyprus countryside.

Pomos villa

Latchi/Argaka/Pomos
With the ridge of the Akamas Peninsula as a backdrop, the small resort of Latchi has a glorious setting by the sea, and is close to a series of bays, where you will find unspoilt beaches and a wide range of water sports.
Latchi with its coastal paved walk is the picturesque harbour of Polis, known throughout Cyprus for its fresh fish. In the past it served as a small port for shipping carobs. The old stone carob warehouses have been converted into restaurants, fish taverns and places of recreation.
Polis itself is a small agricultural town, and the hub is the square, where people gather in the cafes and coffee shops. The nearby market abounds in locally grown vegetables and fruit from plantations of pecan, banana, citrus, peach and olives.
Argaka village is still a traditional village on the picturesque unspoilt coastline, 7km north east of the coastal resort of Polis. It is a rural, agricultural village with a population of approximately 1,000.

The attractive seaside village of Pomos with it’s own fishing harbour is approx 1 hour from Paphos and 15 mins drive from Polis. If you are wanting to escape the tourist areas and experience traditional Cyprus, Pomos is for you.

Places to Visit
Go back in time to visit the legendary historical centre of Paphos, where attractions include some of the best mosaics of the Mediterranean, depicting scenes of Greek Mythology, magnificently preserved after 16 centuries under the soil!
The nearby Odean make the perfect setting for cultural events of all kinds, while the impressive Tombs of the Kings with vaults and catacombs will make a memorable visit.
The Petra Tou Romiou or the Rock Of Aphrodite, is a scenic place, located off the old Pafos-Lemesos road.

Eating Out
In Latchi you can find some of the best places to sample fish and seafood freshly caught locally, for which the resort has an island-wide reputation. As well as fish, the Island is of course well known for Meze - the Meze is a Cypriot variation consisting of up to 20 dip-like dishes. It is a sharing, sociable custom, eaten as a starter where everyone dips into the same dishes. A Meze will feature cheeses such as halloumi or feta, tomatoes, olives, celery, artichokes, smoked ham, houmous, taramosalata, tahini, octopus, prawns, mullet, chicken, green peppers, seftalia sausages and stuffed vine leaves. This is eaten with bread, often dipped into the individual delicacies. The main courses that follow are usually meat based, with meatballs, moussaka and stews to name but a few,and then fresh fruit and pastries round off the meal.
In Argaka village, there are coffee shops and tavernas serving locally grown food and just along the coast a few minutes drive there are more establishments catering for visitors and locals alike. There are groceries / mini markets and a small Co-op store.
The village of Pomos boasts 4 restaurants, a supermarket and a bank. The fishing harbour is the hub of the village life with fishing boats returning each morning laden with their overnight catch which can be purchased fresh from the boats.

Leisure
Watersports with instruction are available at Latchi throughout the summer. The sea is sparkling and clear and boat trips along the Akamas coast can be taken. Amongst the facilities on offer are jetski, small boat hire, waterski-ing, windsurfing and banana boat rides. For Golf lovers, there are two courses within an hour’s drive, one at Minthis Hills Golf near the village of Tsada, 15 minutes from Paphos, and the other at the Aphrodite Hills Resort. The largest water park in Cyprus is the Paphos Aphrodite Water Park which has the greatest number of facilities and attractions to offer to suit all ages, from lagoon style wave pools and river rides to the most daring of flumes! Hyper - market style shopping malls are beginning to take off in Cyprus, mainly in the South and the major cities will have at least one of the shopping centres in the suburbs. If you want to get a souvenir from Cyprus, there are certain items that are worthy to look out for. Handicrafts - ceramics, basketry, weaving, wood carving, silver and copper products all represent the souvenirs from Cyprus.
