Property description This fabulous villa is in a unique position, only a few metres from the sea, with panoramic views and the sound of lapping waves. It is in a very quiet, residential location, a few minutes walk to the beach and an excellent selection of restaurants and shops. A stroll along the lit, beachfront promenade leads into the centre of Costa Teguise and the golf course and a large aqua park are nearby. It is only a ten minutes drive to the bustling resort of Puerto del Carmen with its miles of glorious, golden beaches and excellent amenities. For larger families and groups travelling together, neighbouring Villa Mercedes is also available. Interior This luxurious, single storey villa has been elegantly furnished to a very high standard. The extremely spacious, stylish, living room has a very high ceiling and patio doors, making it light and airy. The formal, raised dining area overlooks the living room and has a superb, marble topped table and leather chairs. There is a separate, modern and very well-equipped kitchen, which has a serving hatch through to the dining room. The villa has three attractive bedrooms with built-in wardrobes. North of these villages are several, breathtakingly, beautiful, white sand beaches, with glistening, aquamarine waters. Nearby is Los Jameos del Agua, said to be Cesar Manriques most splendid work. Connecting caves and underground grottos house a lake with thousands of tiny, rare albino crabs, a spectacular, underground, concert auditorium, a beautiful garden and a restaurant. The beautiful old village of Haria, set in the valley of the 1000 palms is worth a visit. On the northern tip of the island is the fishing village of Orzola, from where there is a ferry to the tiny, un-spoilt, neighbouring island of Graciosa. Sitting sedately at the end of an unmade country track, this villa enjoys an idyllic rural location. In all directions, the view ahead is of a sweeping panorama of moorland stretching out towards gently undulating hills, interrupted only occasionally by the white outline of a distant property. To the east, the waters of the nearby sea can be seen on the horizon. Such apparently infinite rustic vistas make it hard to believe that amenities are so close to hand, but a drive of just over 4km reveals the lively shoreline with its golden sand beaches, shops, cafes, restaurants and water sporting activities. Alternatively, head some 20 minutes north through blissfully unspoilt countryside to discover the authentic fishing village of Arrieta, where traditional narrow streets house a collection of typical whitewashed homes and one of the islands most highly recommended local restaurants. Built by its current owners great grandparents and lovingly cared for by successive generations of the family, the house itself oozes character and a delightful sense of homeliness.
